Here’s the recipe for the cheesy biscuits I made for lunch to go with our chicken noodle soup.

1/2 cup butter, softened
2c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tbs Worcestershire Sauce (W sauce in my house)
1c flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of Cayenne Pepper

In a large bowl, combine the butter, cheese and W sauce until well blended.  Stir in the flour, salt, and cayenne pepper.  Lightly grease your hands, then use them to form the dough into a ball.  Roll the dough out till it’s about 1/4 of an inch thick. Use a small cookie butter to cut into cool shapes.  Take the scraps of dough, re-roll and cut again. Repeat until all the dough has been used.  I got about 24 small biscuits out of the dough. Place the cut-outs onto a lightly greased baking sheet (or a well used ungreased cooking stone) and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
